Mike and Barbi Marston
We have owned & operated Maz-Tech Automotive since 1989. Mike has worked for Maz-Tech Automotive since 1985. We both enjoy the challenge of working together as a team for over the past 25+ years. When Mike is not at work he enjoys spending his time fabricating and working on Race Cars. He has achieved the top crew chief for our grandsons 5 racing championships. Barbi also enjoys racing. We both enjoy the time we spend with all 6 of our grandchildren. Faith and Family is the most precious thing to both of us. Customer satisfaction is a very high priority to both of us. We are grateful everyday for the trust our customers have placed in the two of us.
Mike Marston – Owner
I have lived in Boise Idaho for 54 years. I have worked as an automotive technician for 36+ years and have owned the business since 1989. I am ASE Master Certified and also ASE Certified in Engine Assembly. I enjoy the challenge of trouble shooting and brain storming problems. Customer satisfaction is a high priority to me. I also enjoy any kind of design and fabrication projects related to the automotive field and working with metal. When I am not at work I spend my time building race cars and hot rods, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Barbi Marston – Owner
I am a Boise native born and raised. I am the owner/office manager of the business and have been since 1989. I enjoy being able to spend my time with Mike every day. I also enjoy the challenge of accomplishing something I have never done before; understanding a problem and then making sure it is resolved. I also enjoy scrapbooking, flower gardening, photography, our grandson’s and Mike’s racing, my family and friends but mostly my 6 grandchildren. To me faith and family is the most precious thing I have.
Christine Henderson – Admin Assistant
I am a native to Boise. I have worked in the Health Care field as an Administrative Assistant for 5 years and then medical billing for 10 years. I am currently getting my Graphic Design Degree. I enjoy the challenge of learning new things. Also I enjoy bringing fresh, new ideas and enhancing the customers’ experience. The most important thing about my job is helping others. When I am not at work I spend my time with my camera enjoying photography, time with family, scrapbooking with my daughter, watching my son race cars and chase his dreams. My favorite thing about Idaho is you are not far from anything and there are all types of scenery out our back door.
Sayed Shafi- Technician
I am from Afghanistan and have been in Boise for the past 2 years. I love that Idaho has all four seasons. I have worked as a technician for 10 years. I have also worked with the US Army for 5 years. I have certifications from NAPA, Ford, GM Automotive as well as Military Certificates. I enjoy the challenge of learning new things; having a positive attitude and helping the company grow. I value being on time and doing the job right the first time and keeping our customers on the road and happy. When I am not at work I spend my time doing outdoor activities, working out and spending time with my family and friends.
Austin Carmona- Technician
I am from Boise, Idaho. I have worked in roofing and as a Janitor in the past and then went to school to become a technician and got my certificates from CWI. I have been working on cars for the last 3 years. I enjoy the challenge of taking on new projects. I value working hard and having the will to better myself. The most important thing about my job is doing it right and learning new things. When I am not at work I spend my time with my wife, fixing our personal cars, plinking and archery. My favorite thing about Idaho is having all four seasons and having the mountains close to go camping.
Tim Johnson- Service Advisor
I am from Boise, Idaho. I have worked as a service advisor for the last 30 years. I enjoy the challenge of turning a bad experience into a good one. The value that I bring to my position is communicating with my customers. The most important thing about my job is a happy customer at the end of the visit. When I am not at work I spend my time riding my Harley to different places. My favorite thing about living here in Idaho is the atmosphere
